ADULT BEGINNERS' COURSE

George: All right, that’s enough. I gotta go home and take a nap.
Jerry: It’s 10:30 in the morning.
George: I tell you; I’m wiped.
Jerry: So, has the summer of George already started or are you still decomposing?
George: Decompressing.
— Seinfeld, The Summer of George

What are you doing this summer? Do you plan to decompress and already know it'll lead to decomposing? Avoid "Summer of George Syndrome," and make summer 2017 your own. Register now for our next 4-week beginners’ course for adults. Classes begin Monday, July 10, 2017, and meet every Monday and Wednesday from 7:30-8:30 pm until August 2 (8 total classes).

This special course covers the basics of aikido technique and philosophy, and how the Art of Peace helps us make sense of the world. All classes are taught by senior AOSB instructors. No previous martial arts experience, uniforms, or long-term commitments are required. Wear sweat pants, loose fitting tops, and be ready to roll. The beginners' course is a great way to learn about the path of aikido, challenge yourself, and meet members of your community. It is also a great gift. The course costs $100*.
