Aikido of South Brooklyn's unofficial credo "There is no authority but yourself" is borrowed from the closing lines of English punk band Crass's noisy, anarchic, seminal final album "Yes Sir, I Will".

The egalitarian spirit and sustained energy of punk rock are alive and well in our dojo. The ethos of punk informs our daily aikido practice: confidence, self-reliance, total commitment, and the merging of art and life.

The artwork features our aikido/anarchy logo on the front, Aikido of South Brooklyn on the right sleeve, and the Crass lyric on the left sleeve.

All proceeds support Aikido of South Brooklyn's children, youth, and adult programs.
